To this very day, I have been attempting to recover from that financial setback. From that and also my ill-timed investment in exploding shoes, which hit the market just as the hilarious novelty became an impediment to effortless travel.
Is it any wonder I hate the airlines? Still, I know I can’t beat them, so I’ve steered clear of their wrath (except at Cleveland International, where you have to hop over the wrath in order to reach the jetway).
